The Mosasaurs were a diverse group of large, predatory marine reptiles that lived from around 85 to 65 million years ago. The largest known species reach lengths of up to 50 feet and 20 tons! They were terrifying predators and are thought to be most closely related to our modern Monitor Lizards such as the Nile Monitor and Komodo Dragon!
